Professional Line Array Speaker for UPSC

DSPPA professional array line speaker successfully applied in the Annual National Planning Conference 2017 during Nov.11-20, Dongguan, Guangdong.

Project Background

As the highest-level annual academic summit in the field of urban planning in China, the Urban Planning Society of China(UPSC) chose DSPPA to realize clear sound amplification.

Project Requirements

Due to the large venue of 10,000 people, the sound pressure level should be uniform. So DSPPA applied a combination of professional array line speakers. 


Compared to the traditional speakers, the directivity Q value of the phased array loudspeaker is high, and its acoustic direction can be electronically adjusted, mounted vertically on the site column, and is very coordinated with the environment. In order to improve the vertical directivity, two-phased array loudspeakers are used in one group. There are two groups on each pillar, one radiating to the left and the other to the right rear. The audio signal can be effectively improved by the delay of the processor, and the natural cover of the column can prevent the sound behind the post from interfering with the front sound. So through the solution, the problem of decreasing the sound clarity caused by the increase of points is solved.
