Our HD8000 remote video conference system is effectively incorporated into Makerere University in Uganda, helping to cultivate the skills of the targeted trainees in emergency medical care and thereby improving their emergency medicine and critical care response.
The simulation center is positioned as the major high-fidelity simulation center for emergency medical training in sub-Saharan Africa, and has three units, including emergency, critical (intensive care unit), and perioperative (surgery).
The simulation center, primed to become a center of excellence in medical simulation, encompasses three training rooms, each with the capacity to accommodate six learners at a time, and a 100-seat auditorium.
For improved access to health and medical education in Uganda, we are entrusted to install our flexible and versatile remote video conference system at the simulation center.
The control room is equipped with a paging microphone for real-time paging to other rooms, while the laboratories and student room are provided with two wall-mounted speakers, one camera, and one omnidirectional microphone for direct interaction with each other and effective teaching and learning demonstration.
Our integrated video conference terminal enables audio and video capture, encoding, decoding, and transmission, offering support for diverse screen layouts and a range of conference features to satisfy the needs of different courses and enhance communication efficiency.
