DSPPA paperless conference system has been applied to the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice in Nigeria, facilitating digital document management and efficient court proceedings.
Located in Nigeria, the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice is regarded as the principal judicial organ of the Economic Community of West African States. It plays a strategic role in establishing and sustaining an enabling legal environment for the achievement of Community aims and objectives.
In an effort to modernize the courtroom and enhance communication and collaboration among participants, we designed a robust and secure conference solution to cater to the needs of the court, covering a paperless conference system, intelligent digital conference system, 2K HD seamless hybrid matrix system and remote video conference system.
Equipped with 20 conference terminals, the court can realize electronic case management, document storage and retrieval, as well as efficient collaboration. This digital approach streamlines case handling, making it easier for judges, lawyers, and court staff to access and update case files in real-time.
With three cameras strategically placed in the courtroom, different angles and perspectives of the proceedings can be captured. Besides, the professional sound system plays a crucial role in ensuring clear communication, effective proceedings, and accessibility for all participants.
Lawyers, witnesses, and other participants who cannot physically attend the courtroom can participate remotely and interact effectively with the proceedings via video conferencing; multiple video sources can be distributed, switched and managed via the video matrix system, greatly enhancing the capabilities and flexibility of the courtroom.
