Wireless Conference System for the Department of National Budget, Sri Lanka

The National Budget Department of Sri Lanka has completed the upgrade of its internal conference room audio system with DSPPA DW9866 UHF wireless conference system and supporting professional audio equipment.

The solution delivers a stable, clear, and flexible wireless conferencing environment for fiscal discussions, policy consultations, and inter-departmental meetings, significantly improving communication efficiency and professionalism in government meetings.

Project Overview

As a key governmental institution responsible for national fiscal planning, budget formulation, and policy coordination, the National Budget Department of Sri Lanka frequently holds multi-department consultations and budget review meetings.

Traditional wired conference systems presented challenges such as complex cabling, limited layout flexibility, aging wiring, and signal interference, all of which affected meeting efficiency and reliability.

To meet the need for a more flexible and stable solution, the DSPPA wireless conference system solution was selected, providing integrated voice capture, mixing, and sound reinforcement for efficient government meetings.

Project Highlights

The system adopts a fully wireless architecture, consisting of five main modules: wireless conference units, wireless handheld microphones, audio mixing and processing, power amplification, and loudspeakers.

• DW9866 UHF Wireless Microphone System

As the core of the system, the DW9866 features professional UHF wireless transmission technology and centralized management of the chairman and delegate units.

With strong anti-interference capability, it effectively eliminates noise from surrounding electronic devices and ensures stable, uninterrupted audio transmission during meetings.

• DW60 / DW61 / DW63 / DW64 Wireless Chairman / Delegate Microphone

Equipped with 1 DW60 Chairman Unit and 8 DW61 Delegate Units, the system supports multi-microphone operation with clear and stable audio performance.

Its wireless gooseneck design enables flexible deployment without cabling, while the DW9822 Charging Case provides centralized charging and storage for convenient maintenance and all-day meeting reliability.

• D58 Series True Diversity Wireless Microphone

The project also integrates the D58 Series true diversity wireless microphone system, featuring dual-channel PLL design, infrared pairing, real-time monitoring, and flexible audio control for stable, interference-free communication in mission-critical environments.

• DMX08 / DMX12 Professional Mixing Console

The mixer serves as the central audio processing hub, providing multiple input channels and mixing these signals into stereo and grouping output signals with flexible channel control, EQ adjustment, and real-time sound optimization.
